DESIGNTK 531
Design Technology Core II
Vivek M. Rao
Description from DukeHub
In this course, students will advance their skills related to two technical toolkits core to design innovation practice: 2D- and 3D-modeling and digital fabrication; and, rich experience design using 2D-, 3D-, immersive, and interactive device platforms (low-code front-end platforms, XR/AR applications, and interactive devices). The course revolves around extensive in-class experimentation; weekly skill-building assignments; two mini-projects; and a final individual project intended to serve as a portfolio-ready piece.
