Christian Ethics in Modern Society
Jonathan Tran
Description from DukeHub
With a focus on contemporary controversies in public life, this course surveys Christian perspectives on the ethos of contemporary American society. As a course theorizing the practice of Christian life, Christian life as practice, students think through the ethical implications of Christianity. The idea of the class centers on the premise Christian thought and practice informs Christian participation in modern society, and vice versa. The course examines this intersection with special attention to the moral considerations that arise therein.
