Adriane Stewart Fresh
Description from DukeHub
This course introduces students to the design of original research in the social and behavioral disciplines. Students learn how to formulate researchable questions, situate them within existing scholarship, develop theoretical frameworks, and design strategies to evaluate their claims. Students both engage with interdisciplinary research and develop their own individualized research project. Course prepares students for writing an honors thesis in a social or behavioral discipline, conducting independent research more broadly, and pursuing research-related careers.
