Theology and Music
Jeremy S. Begbie
Description from DukeHub
This course explores the mutually-illuminating relationship between theology and music. It aims to help students gain a working knowledge of what it is to think theologically about music and to think musically about theology. Though readings and course organization will vary from year to year, the course will explore a range of musical case-studies in the context of key readings from theologians and theorists who have shaped how we think of the intersection of theology and music today.
